Biography

Kenny Toews is the Christian Life Facilitator at King’s Christian School. He graduated from Summit Pacific College in 1997 with a degree in Theology and was ordained by the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada 3 years later. At the age of 24 he and Charlene (his wife) moved to Enderby to be the lead pastors of a church plant called; The River Church. He spent 6 years as the pastor and stepped aside to pursue God's call to a greater degree in the community.

During his time in Enderby, Kenny was the founder and director of the Enderby Youth Society which operated a Teen Drop-in Centre for over 4 years. The goal was to provide a safe and encouraging environment for youth to be themselves while coming into contact with adult Christians who genuinely loved them. This ministry was in addition to working full-time in sales at a local company.

Currently, Kenny is an "undercover minister" working full-time in the construction industry! He is active in his church and serves in the community. He continually seeks to care for the students spiritual lives at Kings. Feel free to contact him if you have comments, questions, or concerns about the spiritual component of KCS.
