Grade 3 - week of April 26th
Apr 24
As April is very quickly coming to an end I think of how quickly the month has gone by. Of course our perception of time does not change how quickly or slowly time actually moves. Which brings me to what we are learning about in Math, measurement. We will be measureing time, as well as volume, lenght, area and many other things over the next few weeks. Starting this week, we will be reviewing length, and area and moving into volume. On Thursday, we will be using our new found knowledge of volume measurement to make milkshakes and smoothies for the class. If there are any parents with a little free time and a spare blender your help would be appriciated on that day.
For those keeping up with tomatosphere our plants have begun to sprout new leaves and are growing taller every day. It is my hope that students will be able to bring their plants home sometime in the next 2 weeks so be prepared to plant a new tomato plant somewhere around your home.

1 John 1:8-9
If we claim to be without sin, we deceive ourselves and the truth is not in us. 9 If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.
