Grade 3 - Provinces and Capitals from coast to coast

May 16

We have started our journey across Canada with the learning of all of Canada's provinces and where they are located. Our goal for this week is to learn the capital cities and other features on a Canadian map.

As with last week, we will be continuing our paper mache projects for Art class. Please have your child bring old clothing that can get messy to class. As some of the students may work on the project at other times during the week, I recommend keeping those clothes at school for the whole week.

A reminder to parents that this is a short week ending on Thursday due to the Pro - D on Friday followed by another short week next week with Victoria Day on Monday. This means that our spelling test and Bible memory verse will be done on Thursday this week.
