Volunteers are a valued component of the KCS experience for students, staff, and families. 

The following policies and procedures are in place for the protection of students and volunteers.

Criminal Record Checks

“We are extremely proud of our school volunteer programs.  To continue offering high quality programs and uphold the safety and best interests of our students, volunteers working with students such as drivers, coaches, and field trip chaperones are required to participate in a Criminal Record Check. Current forms and any applicable fees will be supplied by King’s Christian School. Administration will meet with Volunteers to discuss Criminal Record Check results as needed. We sincerely appreciate your efforts on behalf of our students.”

Driver Forms

All volunteers who will be transporting students in personal vehicles must also submit a completed Driver Form, along with a copy of insurance showing current and sufficient coverage, and a copy of the driver’s license.

Guiding Standards Agreement

As you serve alongside staff and students, we ask that you agree with our Guiding Standards, which reflect our desire to provide a Christ-centered environment where students can grow in faith and character. By upholding these shared values, you help strengthen the positive, supportive atmosphere that makes our school community so special.

Privacy Expectations and Confidentiality Agreement

We are committed to creating a safe and respectful environment for every student, family, and staff member. Volunteers play a vital role in this community, and part of that role includes protecting the privacy and dignity of others. This Privacy and Confidentiality Agreement outlines our expectations for handling sensitive information, ensuring that all members of our school family can trust that their personal matters will remain secure.
